The owls are the main enemies of the Giana Sisters franchise. They appear on every Giana Sisters game (uncluding fangames), except for I Want More Diamonds and Hard 'n' Heavy (Giana 2: Arthur and Martha in Future World).

Owls evolution
The owls have a different appearance on every Giana Sisters games. In The Great Giana Sisters it was very hard recognize if it's a owl (in-game and box art), some people confuse it to a "Cat-Goomba". In Giana Sisters DS, they look more owl-ish and more cuter. In Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, they look singly more realistic.

Red Owl
- Can be encountered on every games.
Green Owl
- First appearance in Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, this owl can fly around.
Blue Owl
- First appearance in Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, he's similar to Red Owl.
Killer Owl
- First appearance in Giana Sisters DS, he's more bigger than the normal owl and throw rocks over Giana.
Spiky Owl (Purple Owl)
- First appearance in Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Giana can't jump over it.
The owlverlord
- The bosses of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Director's Cut.
